This Club access to the South Santiam is about 1/3 of a mile long and includes a boat ramp that is suitable for drift boats, canoes and kayaks. The property is conveniently located between Sweet Home and Lebanon which gives boaters floating options that are otherwise unavailable. OFC’s access begins just downstream from the Bates Bridge on the eastern shore and continues downstream until you reach a side channel that makes wading any further difficult.

There is a nice deep run adjacent to the boat ramp that is easily fished with a fly rod or any other method. Downstream from there is a nice drift accessed by a good trail and easy wading opportunities. You can fish downstream until you reach the side channel where it gets too deep to easily wade. The boat ramp gives you a unique option to float the river from the Pleasant Valley Bridge in Sweet Home about six miles upstream, or as a starting point to make a short float to Waterloo Park about four miles downstream.
