Oregon Fishing Club grants its members access to a variety of private lakes, ponds, and rivers, many of which are equipped with exclusive campgrounds.

Rivers

Our 19 river properties were chosen due to their great shoreline access to fish of all kinds, such as rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, steelhead, smallmouth bass, and, of course, salmon. There is much less fishing pressure on our properties than in the general public, which results in a local abundance of fish.

Lakes

Each of our 21 beautiful ponds and lakes is a great place to try some fly fishing with the young ones or good friends. We plant most of our lakes and ponds with healthy-sized rainbow trout routinely. These bodies of water are also naturally blessed with large populations of indigenous bass and panfish. Depending on the season and location, you will also find plenty of bluegill, steelhead, and salmon. Big and Little Tree Lakes are both great for pontoon boat and float tube fishing. To preserve local populations, many of our still water fishing areas are designated as “catch and release only.” A few areas, however, will allow you to keep fish in limited quantities.

Camping

Our private fishing club offers camping on 13 of our exclusive properties. We only charge $10 a night and require that you make a reservation. You may camp the conventional way by pitching your tent atop our grassy campgrounds, or you may bring your recreational vehicle. RVs are always welcome, and we provide fire rings and picnic tables for eating and recreation.

Fishing Licenses

Because you are not required to hold an Oregon state fishing license to enjoy our still water properties, you are more than welcome to an bring an out-of-state friend to join in the fun. Many of our members even delight in bringing along their visiting grandchildren for a quiet day of private fishing on our well-maintained fishing docks.

If you decide to try your hand at private fishing at one of our riverside locations, you must adhere to state regulations and obtain a fishing license. Even though you need a license for river fishing, you will still get the benefit of avoiding the crowds at public areas.

Privacy and Peace of Mind

Because this is a private fishing club, your party will generally have plenty of space by yourselves. There are usually no noisy guests around to disturb your peace and quiet.

Another advantage of using our private fishing club grounds is the fact that our club maintains all garbage cans and porta-potties. This service helps you avoid the kinds of unpleasant messes that can ruin trips to public areas.

So, if you enjoy the serene atmosphere of the outdoors without being crowded, private fishing on one of our exclusive properties may be the answer for you. As a member of the Oregon Fishing Club, you and your immediate family can access any of our properties 365 days a year without reservations. Become a member today, and enjoy all that we have to offer.
