These two ponds are located about 15 minutes west of Forest Grove. The bigger South Pond is three acres and the North Pond is about two acres in size. There are good populations of bass and bluegill as well as rainbow trout which make this property a fun day use location that’s close in for those folks on the west side of Portland. At high water levels the South Pond is around seven feet deep and the North Pond is close to five feet deep. During the low water periods of late summer and early fall, the water levels go down by about four feet and the ponds become quite shallow.

The parking area adjacent to the South Pond, members may not drive around the pond. However you can walk around the both ponds fairly easily to access fishing spots. Small boats are allowed, and electric motors are fine, however no gas motors are allowed. The boat launch is located near the parking area at the corner of the South Pond close to the road. The North Pond is accessed only from the shoreline.
