Big Creek is a small coastal stream that empties into the Columbia River about 15 miles east of Astoria. The State of Oregon operates a fish hatchery on Big Creek and releases fall Chinook, Coho and winter steelhead. OFC has an agreement with the Big Creek Fishing Club (BCFC) to fish the ranch property. BCFC offers its members access to Big Creek and use of a lodge. OFC members pay a $10 per angler, per day. To fish the property, OFC members must make reservations with BCFC, preferably 7 days in advance.
