Prince of Wales Island Coho
If you’d like to catch a lot of salmon in small picturesque Alaskan streams, this is the trip for you. We stay at a nice B&B in Craig, on Prince of Wales Island. Each morning we get into our SUV to fish numerous coastal streams during the peak of the island’s Coho run. This is an unguided, on-foot excursion, so bring your waders and fishing gear. Depending on water conditions, all types of fishing gear will work on Coho, including flies, spinners, jigs and drift gear. Expect to catch Coho, plenty of Pinks, and a few Chum. Members may bring a guest. This trip includes 7 nights lodging, all meals, float plane from Ketchikan, and ground transportation.
Fishing the Baja Peninsula
We fish from guided super-pangas on the Sea of Cortez for Dorado, Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowtail and various rock fish. This is a week-long trip with five days of guided fishing with two anglers per boat. We go in the spring and in the fall to target high numbers of fish and avoid the worst of the summer heat. Our lodging in Loreto is very comfortable and secluded and offers a swimming pool. The town of Loreto is off the beaten path and is very safe. Members may bring a guest. This trip includes 7 nights lodging, 5 days guides fishing, lunches and drinks while fishing, ground transportation, and Baja fishing licenses.
